QUETTA: Ahmed Gul Kakar was elected President of the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI), while Mirza Khan Khilji and Jangian Essa Dashti were elected senior vice president and vice president, respectively, unopposed for the 2026-28 term at the chamber’s annual elections held on Friday.
According to a notification issued by the election commission, only one panel submitted nomination papers within the stipulated period during the second phase of the elections.
According to the notification, the following candidates were elected unopposed as executive members of the Corporate Class: Mirza Khan Khilji, Sikandar Khan, Shahbaz Khan, Muhammad Daud Khilji, Abdul Hadi, Saad Khan, Naimatullah, Ashfaq Ahmed, Muhammad Bilal Marri, Ajmal Khan, Zark Khan, Muhammad Mudssar Mehr, Aminullah and Muhammad Nabeel.
In the Associate Class, Ahmed Gul Kakar, Jangian Essa Dashti, Haji Janan Khan Achakzai, Muhammad Gul, Alam Zeb Kasi, Nisar Ahmed Khan, Malik Shafiullah, Zafarullah Khan, Syed Muhammad Azim, Ahmed Shah Khan, Muhammad Afzal, Shabbir Ahmed, Muhammad Muzammil and Syed Siddiqullah were elected unopposed.
