Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has told Al Jazeera that Iran “no longer trust[s] talks with Washington”, after its “repeated attacks and sanctions following every negotiation”.
He said Qatar and Pakistan are currently mediating between Iran and the US and conveying Tehran’s messages to Washington.
Pezeshkian also said the negotiations are based on the previous memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries, adding that the “Americans must state their position on it”.
