KARACHI: A policeman was killed in a road accident on Shahrah-i-Bhutto.
Officials said that Constable Aliyan Tariq, 24, was riding a motorbike when he hit a water tanker parked on Shahrah-i-Bhutto. He sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.
They said that he was posted at Rapid Response Force.
In another accident, a teenaged biker was killed on New M.A. Jinnah Road.
The officials said that three teenagers, aged between 14 and 17 years, were riding a motorcycle. When they reached Peoples Chowrangi, their bike hit the footpath of the under-construction Red Line road, resulting in injuries to two of them.
The wounded were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where Bilal Irfan, 14, died during treatment.
