Iranian army spokesperson Mohammad Akraminia says that an “Iranian order” prevails in the Strait of Hormuz, according to state news agency IRNA.
Addressing an event, he adds that the US expected economic problems, public dissatisfaction and regional conditions to push Iranians to overthrow the government, but the public “disrupted those calculations through their active presence in the scene”.
