Ways of Seeing and other books by John Berger because he makes you aware of how you see things and why. He also shows you how to look afresh.

What are you planning to reread?

I don’t re-read anything. I re-handle books, especially ones that I’ve loved reading and leather-bound books, of which I love the feel, look and smell.

What is the one book you read because you thought it would make you appear smarter?

My law books at university. Ugh!

What is the one book you started reading but could not finish?

There are many.

What is your favourite childhood book or story?

These were many too.
