CM Maryam also announced compensation for the flood-affected people with Rs1 million for those who lost their entire houses.
Terming it the “biggest package in history”, she added that the people whose houses collapsed partially will receive Rs500,000.
She further announced that compensation for the loss of livestock will be Rs500,000 for larger animals and Rs50,000 for smaller animals.
“This rehabilitation package will be handed out to people within two weeks,” she added.
