Tilak Varma dispatched Nawaz’s wayward first delivery for a six, finally looking to open his arms. He rotated the strike to Yadav on the third delivery.
Yadav was only too happy to give the strike back to him with an easy single.
Yadav missed a sweep attempt off the last delivery, the ball hitting his pads and making the Pakistan squad jump up in excitement, appealing for a LBW. The umpire wasn’t interested but Pakistan decided to review the decision.
The review was close but ended up in India’s favour due to the umpire’s call.
