TAXILA: The three-day Baisakhi festivities marking the 327th birth anniversary of the Khalsa concluded on Tuesday with the spiritually resonant Bhog ceremony at Gurdwara Panja Sahib, drawing thousands of Sikh pilgrims from India and across the world.

Following the ceremony, Karah Parshad was distributed among devotees, while the Langar continued to serve thousands.

The celebrations were organised under the supervision of the Evacuee Trust Property Board.

Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, speaking to the newsmen, said the government is committed to promoting religious tourism.

Minister for Interfaith Harmony Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora said Pakistan remains committed to welcoming larger numbers of pilgrims in the future.

Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board Qamar Zaman expressed gratitude to security forces, district administration, health services, and rescue agencies for ensuring foolproof security.
