Spain’s biggest strength has been their ability to control the rhythm and territory. Their press is preventing Argentina from building cleanly, and when they have the ball, the movement around the final third is much more fluid. But Argentina’s defensive organisation and ability to turn every transition into a potential Messi moment means Spain cannot afford to become complacent.
