GUJAR KHAN: The city police officer Rawalpindi, Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera, directed the immediate arrest of the killers of eight-year-old Mohammad Ayyan, whose body was recovered by police from a well on Wednesday.

Mr Sukhera visited the crime scene and was briefed by SDPO Syed Danial Hassan about the murder of the orphan boy who had gone missing from his home at Dhoke Ali Shan in Gujar Khan on Tuesday.

The CPO directed the police investigators to use all resources for immediate arrest of the culprits.

The police were investigating the murder from all angles and raids were being conducted at various locations, Mirza Khurram, spokesman for the police said.

Meanwhile, in Kallar Syedan, Civil Judge and Magistrate Sidra al Nissa extended physical remand of three suspects including teachers of a seminary who had allegedly tortured to death a nine-year-old boy at a madressa last week.
