Two minors die of food poisoning in Lahore
LAHORE: Two minors died while their parents fainted after reportedly eating adulterated food in the Harbanspura area here on Sunday.
They were identified as Qadeer (16) and his sister Asma (14), while police sent their bodies to the city morgue for postmortem.
A police official said that all four members of the family were hospitalised soon after they ate the food at home. He said that the police rushed to the site along with the forensic experts after being alerted and launched investigations.
The official said that samples of the food had been sent for forensic analysis to find out the exact cause of the incident.
