KARACHI: A woman and her three minor children were found murdered in their Surjani Town home on Monday evening, police said.
The deceased were identified as Mahwish, 34, and her three children — Harba, 6, Hunain, 5, and 18-month-old Ashmira.
The police said that all four victims sustained injuries from a rod, stick, or similar blunt object.
West Zone DIG Irfan Ali Baloch said that it was “too early to ascertain the possible motive and identity of the killer(s)”.
He said the woman’s husband, who is an electrician by profession, was being questioned by the police.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident, sought details from the city police chief and ordered the immediate arrest of those involved in the murder.
