ISLAMABAD: Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) fetched Rs10 billion from 15 plots on the opening day of the two-day auction of commercial plots on Tuesday.

“On the first day of the auction, a total of 15 commercial plots were sold, generating a total revenue of more than Rs10 billion. G-13 and G-14 are rapidly developing and highly important locations in Islamabad, offering vast potential for the promotion of commercial activities and future investment,” read a press release issued by the FGEHA.

It said various commercial plots located in G-13 and G-14 were being offered in the auction, including G-14 Markaz, G-14/2, G-14/3, G-14/4, as well as other important commercial locations.

These plots hold special significance in terms of promoting business activities and offering profitable investment opportunities in the future.

According to a statement, Director General FGEHA retired Captain Zafar Iqbal said: “Conducting a transparent, merit-based and well-organised auction not only further strengthens investors’ confidence but also plays an important role in promoting business activities.”

An Investor Facilitation Cell under the supervision of director staff has been established at the FGEHA to facilitate investors and ensure prompt resolution of their issues.
