Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that while Israel possesses nuclear weapons, Iran has been bombed and is subjected to inspections.
“Israel has the bombs, has weapons of mass destruction [but is] not a member of the non-proliferation treaty [and] durign her shameful life, has not allowed a single inspection,” he says in a speech to the UN General Assembly.
“But they are rewarded with all the means necessary for them to be able to bomb any capital in the region at will. I will repeat: the nuclear weapon is in Israel, but the inspectors are in Iran,” Pezeshkian adds.
“They kill, we are sanctioned. We are punished.”
