Iran’s acting Defence Minister Brigadier General Majid Ibn Reza refers to the country’s leadership address to the UN General Assembly (UNGA), saying Tehran’s “defence doctrine has changed”, state-run Press TV reports.
“Iran’s message from the UN podium was clear: Iran’s defence doctrine has changed,” the minister says.
“Iran is rapidly developing new defence capabilities, and threats and coercion cannot be used to address Iranian people,” he is quoted as saying in the report.
