Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam commends Pakistan’s efforts to find a diplomatic solution to the Middle East war and prevent escalation, while speaking to the media alongside Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the UNGA summit in New York.
“I commend all the efforts Pakistan has been doing over the past month to try to calm down the situation, to find a diplomatic solution and to prevent the conflict from expanding,” Salam said.
He also thanked the premier for “particular” efforts regarding the situation in Lebanon, and expressed hope that Pakistan would succeed at bringing down the tension in the region.
