Iran’s Civil Aviation Organisation has suspended the display and sale of tickets for flights to Iraq, particularly Najaf, and emphasised that passengers whose flights have been suspended will receive a full refund without any penalty, news agency ISNA reports.
According to ISNA, the organisation has instructed airlines to suspend the display and sale of tickets for this route until further notice. Under the directive, airlines are required to refund, as soon as possible and in full, the ticket costs for suspended flights without deducting any cancellation fees.
Given that passengers are currently present at airports in Iran and Iraq, airlines have been tasked with facilitating their transfer by planning and operating domestic flights to Iran’s border airports and vice versa.
