QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has called for greater investment in human resource development, education and skills training, stressing that empowering the province’s youth is essential for achieving sustainable economic and social development.

The chief minister made these remarks during a meeting with Dr Qurat-ul-Ain, head of the Institute for Development Studies and Practices, in which the two discussed a wide range of issues concerning education and vocational training, community development, women’s empowerment and social progress in Balochistan.

The meeting underscored the need to equip young people with modern education and skills tailored to the evolving demands of the job market and economy.

It also discussed ways to harness the potential of youth and involve them more effectively in the province’s economic and social development.

“Enhancing the capacity of human resources is of fundamental importance for sustainable development in Balochistan,” CM Bugti said.
