The Pentagon’s public count of troops injured during the Iran war has been quietly increased by 37 this week, with no explanation from the US Department of War, The Washington Post reports.
This new figure includes 29 US sailors and eight Marines, raising the total number of personnel wounded since the start of hostilities to 861, the Defence Casualty Analysis System shows.
