RAWALPINDI: Tehreek Nifaz-i-Fiqh-i-Jafria Pakistan chief Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Darazinda, Dera Ismail Khan, describing it as a cowardly act by the global masterminds of terrorism and their agents.

He said that the masterminds behind the Kohat Police Lines and Darazinda attacks are the same. Terrorism is a challenge to all humanity and must be eliminated by rising above regional, linguistic and organisational considerations.

He stated that the government can satisfy the nation only by taking serious measures to combat terrorism. The National Action Plan and its implementation committees should be made fully functional, while assistance should be provided to the martyrs and the injured.

Reacting to the terrorist attack in Darazinda, Dera Ismail Khan, Allama Hussain Muqaddasi said that the political leadership has no roadmap for dealing with terrorism and the gravity of the prevailing situation.

The chief of Tehreek Nifaz-i-Fiqh-i-Jafria Pakistan said that, following the Kohat Police Lines attack, he had demanded that it be treated as an alarm bell. He questioned why the warning was not acted upon.

Allama Muqaddasi offered special prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured in the tragedy and for those who attained the rank of martyrdom.

He also urged the people of Pakistan to exercise self-protection and remain vigilant and cautious.
