The spokesperson for the Iranian foreign ministry, Esmaeil Baqaei, says that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s stay in New York has not been extended for negotiations.
Talking to state-run IRNA, when asked whether Araghchi’s stay in New York had been extended due to indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington, he said that the minister would proceed according to the previously planned schedule.
