Iranian national security chief Mohsen Rezaei says that although Iran has presented a proposal to the US, President Donald Trump is unable to make a decision, state broadcaster Press TV reports.
“Trump is caught in a quagmire where he can neither negotiate nor fight,” Rezaei says during a meeting in Tehran with Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev.
“Iran’s conditions have been conveyed to the United States, but Trump is unable to make a decision, and the United States, out of desperation, has resorted to an air siege in the military war,” he says, adding that Iran “powerfully defended itself” during the fighting.
