LAKKI MARWAT: Four brothers were killed, and their father was injured when they clashed over a property dispute in the Sulemankhel area here on Tuesday, police said.
The incident occurred in the limits of Tajori police station. A police official said that the deceased were stepbrothers who exchanged fire over a property dispute.
The slain were identified as Mohammad Subhan, Osman Ghani and Sahibullah and their stepbrother, Ashraf Ali. Mir Sahib Khan, father of the deceased, was injured in the firing.
The official said that the bodies and the injured were transported to the hospital in Tajori town.
The bodies were later handed over to the family for burial after fulfilling medico-legal formalities.
A resident said that Ashraf Ali had recently passed the intermediate examination, while Osman Ghani was a watchman at a school.
