NATURE is all around us, from birds in the air to the little crawlies in the soil and flowers in the garden, whether you notice it or not. Some children love plants and are inquisitive about the science behind their growth, while others don’t give much attention to them.
Gardening with Children is a website for all those kids who love gardening and want to know more about it. A website specially designed to be an interactive classroom, allotment plot and hobby garden of the 21st century.
Here you will enjoy the benefits of sharing your goodness with the environment around you. Grow your own food, enjoy nature and care for wildlife in winter. You will be introduced to home farming and taught how to observe nature.
Start with the left panel, where you can select from Kids’ zone, School Zone and Family Zone. In Kids’ Zone, you can learn about nature through fun activities and games but all after choosing from the age-wise categories; you can learn fascinating facts and can also enter into the competition.
School Zone for stimulating ideas for the class, for instance, harvesting potatoes, a collection of helpful fact sheets and guides on how to grow vegetables, flowers and plants; cool competitions and fun things to do on a rainy day.
In Family Zone, you can involve your family in doing activities with you in the garden. And if you are lucky enough to have grandparents, don’t hesitate to get them involve with you in gardening too.
Believe me friends, they know much more about this hobby. Whether you have a little space in the balcony of your apartment or a garden in your house, gardening can be lots of fun!
Apart from that, every week Gill, a website expert, writes news and tells all what’s good to do in the garden and provides really interesting and exciting seasonal activities.
So with Winter nearly over and Spring around the corner, get your green thumbs going and start a small garden, even a few potted plants in your apartment terrace, and see how refreshing it can be. So kids love your garden and love your environment!
