Inconceivable courage

I HAVE been reading YW since childhood, but I have never come across anything so moving as the article “Inconceivable courage” by Mateen Ahmed (January 17, 2015), a boy of class nine who survived the Peshawar attack.

My heart stood still reading about his terrible experience. The children and teachers of Army Public School showed great courage when attacked by terrorists. Mateen’s presence of mind that saved his life was truly remarkable. His vivid description made me feel as if I was there and watching the whole cruel scenario.

My condolences to all the families who lost their loved ones in this horrible incident and I salute all those brave children like Mateen who managed to escape and helped others to escape as well, with Allah’s blessings. I pray that such an incident never takes place ever again and may Allah protect our country from every danger. Ameen.

I LOVE reading Young World as it provides amazing information. However, the magazine lacks music reviews and news about different singers, musicians and bands should also be included. It would not only be a great addition to the magazine but would also provide entertainment to teenagers. Besides this, the magazine is remarkable and doing great!

THIS is with reference to the story “The missing wings” by Aamnah Arshad (YW January 10, 2015). The story was very interesting and I really liked the description of the fairies and the queen fairy; also, I agree with the writer that all human beings should help each other in times of difficulty.

It was a very nice and helpful article as it poured light on a very common issue that some kids have to deal with. THE cover story “Dealing with bullies” by Ambreen Arshad was very helpful to kids who are bullied in school, colleges and universities. The tips given in the article were also helpful in making bullies ashamed of their attitude.

Lack of doctors in Turbat

TURBAT is known as one of the oldest districts of Balochistan but, unfortunately, there aren’t any good doctors, nor good hospitals in the city. And it is a sad fact that the government is totally careless about the health of the residents of this city; we don’t get proper treatment nor any good services. It is therefore my request to the concerned authorities to take serious action as soon as possible.

THIS is with reference to the Myths and mysteries article “Haunted hotels around the world” by Fatima Sajid (YW, December 27, 2014). It was a fabulous and informative article about haunted hotels and I simply love chilling stories and legends as I find them very interesting. I would request the writer to keep writing more myths and legends about ancient horror tales.
