THE Sindh-Balochistan border at Jacobabad is crucial from a security point of view. While there are several check-posts at the provincial border, Sindh Police, Pakistan Customs are primarily responsible for stopping the smuggling of illegal goods from Balochistan to other cities of the country.
The police check-post at Shanbe Shah serves as the entry point to Sindh from Balochistan. Unfortunately, it has not been able to stop smuggling of illegal goods. I urge all concerned to pay heed to the issue.
