The article provided valuable tips and suggested practicing rewriting to achieve the perfect draft. It also hinted at how rewriting can be the best method for exam preparation as it gives deeper understanding of any topic.

Selfishness backfires

This is regarding the story “Selfishness backfires” by Sidra Sozer (YW, January 27). The story sheds light on how one’s selfishness can cause problems for others. However, it also emphasised the concept of karma, suggesting that we may face consequences for our actions in some form.

The hurt and negativity we inflict upon others can eventually rebound on us, leaving us in helpless situations. So kids, stay true to others and yourself and never be selfish to anyone.

The story “Selfishness backfires” by Sidra Sozer highlights the negative trait of people who are rude and don’t consider others’ feelings and end up hurting them.

It is our deeds that make us popular among people. If we are not caring and good with others, we will eventually be left lonely. A selfish person will not succeed, and even if they do, their obsession with selfish desires may prevent them from truly enjoying their victory.

There’s always a solution

This is with reference to the story “There’s always a solution” by Saba Asim (YW, January 13). Although the story may seem typical, it embodies the age-old saying, ‘Don’t close your eyes to the problem; instead, observe closely and therein lies the solution.’

I definitely agree with the writer in reminding the readers to stay steadfast in the face of any problem.
