Taylor Swift pop-up exhibit
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has opened a Taylor Swift pop-up exhibit.
Fans can see her clothes, vintage feather headpiece and Christian Louboutin heels from a recent commercial for The Life of a Showgirl: The Crowd is Your King Edition, along with props like her chair and megaphone.
Swift items are also featured in the “Sing Me Back Home” and “American Currents: State of Music” exhibits, as well as in the 7,500-square-foot Taylor Swift Education Centre, which includes classrooms, youth art, interactive galleries and songwriting resources.
Netflix to Buy Warner Bros
Netflix has agreed to acquire Warner Bros Discovery in an $82.7 billion deal, including Warner Bros studios, HBO and HBO Max.
The purchase, financed with help from banks, aims to expand Netflix’s studio operations, offer more choices to users and create shareholder value.
The deal, subject to regulatory approval, has an equity value of $72 billion and could close within 12 to 18 months. It follows a bidding war with Paramount, Skydance and Comcast, and carries a $5.8 billion breakup fee if it falls through. Netflix plans to maintain WBD’s current operations, including theatrical film releases.
BTS new album in March
BTS will release a new album featuring all seven members on March 20, their first full-group comeback in nearly four years, BigHit Music announced. The album follows their 2022 anthology, Proof.
The group had been on hiatus for mandatory military service, which all members have now completed. BTS shared a New Year’s letter thanking fans and expressing how much they missed them. A world tour is planned after the album, with dates to be announced.
