I Play Rocky trailer is here
Amazon MGM Studios has released the first trailer for I Play Rocky, a biographical drama about the making of the 1976 classic Rocky.
Anthony Ippolito stars as a young Sylvester Stallone, following his struggle to break into Hollywood and his determination to play boxer Rocky Balboa despite repeated rejection. Anna Sophia Robb plays Stallone’s first wife, Sasha Czack, while the cast also includes Stephan James as Carl Weathers, Matt Dillon as Frank Stallone Sr and Jay Duplass as director John G. Avildsen.
The film opens in select theatres on November 13 before expanding nationwide on November 20.
Princess Diaries 3 gets a fresh start
If you are a fan of Princess Diaries movies, here is some good news: Anne Hathaway has confirmed that The Princess Diaries 3 is still in development after the project was creatively restarted.
Speaking in a recent interview, Hathaway said the team “had to start over”, but has now found the right story, leaving everyone more confident about the film’s direction. Disney previously announced that Adele Lim will direct the sequel, with Hathaway returning as Mia Thermopolis.

Tiana gets a live-action story
Disney is developing an original live-action film centred on Princess Tiana, inspired by The Princess and the Frog.
According to reports, Emmy winner Colman Domingo and Tony-nominated director Robert O’Hara are in talks to co-write the project. Rather than remaking the 2009 animated classic, the film will be a new story featuring Tiana.
The original movie followed the ambitious waitress as she was transformed into a frog and journeyed through the Louisiana bayou with Prince Naveen to break a magical curse. Disney has also confirmed that the planned Tiana animated series has been shelved and replaced with a Disney+ short-form special.
